Three-time Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings champion Ryan Martin was involved in a crash during testing at Perth Motorplex in Kwinana Beach, Australia.

At the time, Martin was testing his 1969 Camaro, the “small-tire” car for the preparation weekend’s event, which was featured as an upcoming show on Discovery channel.

Chris “BoostedGT” Hamilton, the host of No Prep Kings, posted the crash video on Facebook.

According to the commentaries, there was smoke on the top end of the tire, and BoostedGT specified that the tire had been locked and that the car had crashed into the wall.

Luckily, Ryan Martin survived the crash. Later, he made a statement on his Instagram page regarding the accident.

The incident occurred on the third testing run. Ryan tried to avoid trouble by shutting down the engine, but the car made contact with the wall.

However, the vehicle damage wasn’t too bad. The team brought the car to a shop in Melbourne and admitted the main challenge was finding a replacement for the nose and hood.

His team was determined to make repairs and compete in the final three events on the Street Outlaws’ American Schedule.

Despite the crash, Ryan Martin met with his fans and supported his fellow racers at each stop.

Recently, he gave tribute to drag racer Lizzy Musi, who has tragically passed away following cancer.

He wrote Lizzy’s name on his car before the race and said,

No words can describe the feelings we’re all experiencing right now. We’re gunna miss you Lizzy. 

He conveyed deep sympathy and sincere feelings about losing his fellow mate, Lizzy.
