At the Atlantic Theater Company, she learned to act with William H. Macy and his wife, Felicity Huffman.

10. Fantastic Four

Fantastic Four runs 106 minutes.

Fantastic Four revolves around four astronauts who are accidentally exposed to cosmic rays during a space mission. Instead of perishing, they gain extraordinary abilities.

It is based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name.

Dr. Reed Richards, a brilliant but financially troubled physicist, believes that evolution on Earth was triggered by cosmic energy millions of years ago.

He calculates that a cosmic energy cloud will soon pass near Earth.

He ventures into space along with his team to study the effects of this energy. However, the mission goes wrong, and they are all transformed.

Reed becomes Mr. Fantastic, able to stretch his body; Sue becomes the Invisible Woman; Johnny Storm becomes the Human Torch; and Ben Grimm becomes the rock-like Thing.

They must use their newfound powers to prevent the plans of their enemy, Dr. Victor Von Doom.

Anton encounters two young police officers, and they bust him for having an empty baggie and littering.

He goes home, smokes oregano and nutmeg, realizes his mistake, and goes to the kitchen to wash his mouth.

Also, he discovers the knife he’s using to spread mayonnaise on a sandwich is covered in blood, and his cat, Bones, is playing with an eyeball.

Afterward, Anton finds his parent’s corpses, and his friends Mick and Pnub realize he’s the killer.

5. Awake

Awake runs 84 minutes.

Awake is an American conspiracy thriller about Young billionaire Clay Beresford Jr., who falls in love with Samantha “Sam” Lockwood, his mother’s personal assistant.

He requires a heart transplant and requests his heart surgeon and friend, Dr. Jack Harper, to arrange his elopement with Sam before the operation.

Clay marries Sam privately at midnight and goes to the hospital for the operation.

During the surgery, he experiences anesthesia awareness, a phenomenon where he remains conscious but paralyzed.

Also, he becomes aware of Dr. Harper’s plot to murder him and discovers that Sam conspired with him against Clay.

Sam planned to poison the donor’s heart, causing its rejection and collecting insurance money to pay off Dr. Harper’s malpractice lawsuits.

The scheme unravels, and Clay’s mother, Lilith, sacrifices her own life so that he can live. She commits suicide, allowing her heart to be switched for the poisoned one.

Meanwhile, Sam tries to escape, but Dr. Harper holds onto proof for her arrest. Another surgical team takes over, and Clay barely clings to life.

Clay spends his final moments with Lilith in the afterlife. Ultimately, he returns to life, reconnecting with childhood memories and accepting revival.

4. Stretch

Stretch runs 94 minutes.

Stretch is an American crime comedy film about Kevin “Stretch” Brzyzowski, a failed actor turned limo driver in Los Angeles. He is a cocaine, alcohol, and gambling addict.

One day, he meets an accident but is miraculously uninjured and confronts the other driver, Candace. He immediately falls in love with Candace and starts dating.

Stretch also leaves his addiction and proposes to her after several years, but she breaks up with him to be with a wealthy athlete. It leads him into a self-destructive spiral.

Although he remains free of his addictions, he still owes $6000 to the Mexican mafia due to gambling debts.

Meanwhile, he hallucinates the bitter ghost of another failed actor and limo driver named Karl.

Stretch’s boss, Naseem, informs him that their competitor, a mysterious man known as The Jovi, has been stealing their clients. He must steal clients back from The Jovi to avoid folding the business.

Things turn unexpectedly when Stretch picks up Roger Karos, an eccentric millionaire. Karos offers to pay off his debt if he serves him without question.

However, Karos has unusual requests, including dropping him off at a secretive sex club and retrieving an important briefcase within a tight time frame.



A hard-luck limo driver struggles to go straight and pay off a debt to his bookie. He takes on a job with a crazed passenger whose sought-after ledger implicates some seriously dangerous criminals.

3. Machete

Machete runs 105 minutes.

Machete is an American exploitation action film about Machete Cortez, a Mexican Federal agent, and his younger partner, who are on a mission to rescue a kidnapped girl. 

Sadly, his younger partner is killed on their journey, and the kidnapped girl stabs Machete before taking her own life.

He faces betrayal, violence, and corruption. Rogelio Torrez, former Federal, killed his wife and threatened to kill his daughter before leaving him for dead.

Michael Booth, a local businessman and spin doctor, offers him $150,000 to kill McLaughlin but also threatens to kill him if he does not.

While Machete aims a rifle at McLaughlin from a rooftop during a rally, Booth’s henchman shoots in the shoulder and leg.

Luckily, an injured Machete escapes from Booth’s capture, seeking vengeance and justice.



After being set up and betrayed by the man who hired him to assassinate a Texas Senator, ex-Federale launches a brutal rampage of revenge against his former boss.

2. Dark Angel

Dark Angel is an American science fiction drama that chronicles the life of Max Guevara, a runaway genetically enhanced supersoldier who escapes from a covert military facility as a child.

She tries to live a normal life, avoiding government agents and searching for her siblings, who were scattered after their escape. 

Logan Cale, an underground cyber-journalist, recruits her to help fight corruption in the post-pulse world. They build up a romantic interest and make a living as a bicycle messenger at Jam Pony.

Colonel Donald Lydecker leads the hunt for the escaped X5s but is betrayed by his superior, ruthless Elizabeth Renfro.

Max gets badly wounded, and the Manticore captures her and Zack. Later, Zack commits suicide to provide her with his heart, as she needs an X5 heart transplant to survive.

Dark Angel released its second season on September 28, 2001.

Cale exposes Manticore to the world, and ruthless Renfro burns the facility to cover up the evidence.

Max escapes the facility and frees the other transgenics with the help of Joshua, a transgenic with conspicuous canine DNA.

The first plot is “The Customer Is Always Right,” where The Salesman approaches the Customer’s penthouse balcony, where she stands, looking out over Basin City.

He offers her a cigarette and remarks that she seems tired of running. He promises to save her but shoots her. 

The second plot is “That Yellow Bastard,” where an aging police officer, John Hartigan, protects a young woman from a serial killer, Roark Junior.

The officer’s determination to keep her safe leads to intense confrontations.

The third plot is “The Hard Goodbye,” in which a tough street fighter named Marv takes home a beautiful woman named Goldie.

He embarks on a violent quest for revenge, seeking the person responsible for her death when Goldie ends up dead in his bed.

The fourth plot is “The Big Fat Kill,” about a private investigator who gets caught in a street war between prostitutes and mercenaries, with corrupt law enforcement and the mob involved.
