Maribel Ramos Was In a Relationship With Boyfriend Paul Lopez
Before going missing, Ramos was dating her boyfriend, Paul Lopez. But they were never married.
Paul was the last person Ramos spoke to on the night she went missing.
The Iraq war veteran and Paul Lopez met on the online dating site named Plenty Of Fish. Paul had even joined her weekly softball game.
Earlier, Ramos and Lopez had fixed a date for Cinco de Mayo two days before the incident.
Police officers have often caught Paul as he was talking with Maribel the night before she disappeared.
Lopez used to work for the gas company and went from call to call in a company truck that night.
However, the truck’s GPS did not put him near the city of Orange on the night Maribel was seen on that security video.
Lopez was alone, which was proved by the parking spot’s surveillance camera, which got him off the list of the suspects behind Ramos’ disappearance.
Maribel Ramos’s Family Reported Her Missing Case
The Iraq veteran lived separately from her family to complete her graduation from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Criminal Justice.
Earlier, she quit her studies for a while to take care of her mother, who had already passed away.
But when Ramos went missing, her family reported a case on May 3, 2013.
Moreover, Maribel had one sister, Lucy Gonzales, who was distraught to speak on camera.
As Lucy listened to KC Joy’s interview, she braced herself whenever she heard her sister’s accused assassin to Maribel as family.
Gonzales said Joy was obsessed with Maribel and that she did not feel the same way.
Lucy has previously told Joy that moving out of Ramos’s life would be better, but he refused.
