Since the beginning of the series, Matt has not seemed prepared for an expansion like this.

On May 21, 2024, Discovery posted another post saying after falling ill and falling behind, Matt had no choice but to quit the show.
His team members also thought that Matt Saxman would pass away at that particular moment.
Matt’s health condition became worse, and he started vomiting at night. Matt said he is sick and needs a hospital.
