A Reddit user mentioned that the suspect might be Billy Buck Blacklock, an artist who likely encountered Mackenzie at her dad’s art store.
According to the user, the day before Mackenzie went missing, Blacklock tried to lure her into his car and had previously stalked both her and her mother.
The user’s mom reported that he gave her a ride and took her to the Remai Art Gallery, where he had rope, twist ties, a Listerine bottle with clear liquid, and a shovel in his car.
On the same day, Blacklock allegedly attempted to take advantage of the user’s mom and later tried to do the same with the user.
The user also described receiving disturbing sketchbooks from Blacklock, which included drawings of d*ad blonde women.
As an artist with ash-blonde hair, green eyes, and a height of 5’2″, she felt a connection to the case due to these unsettling details.
She was particularly struck by the fact that Mackenzie was last seen on the 300 block, and the search lasted 33 days, as Blacklock’s drawings were signed with three threes (3 3 3).
The user found it eerie that their birthday is May 18, which would be about three weeks into the search.
She hesitated to share this information because she struggled with meth add*ction, fearing that sober people might dismiss their claims as unreliable.
