Nadine Mills Wanted To Act From A Young Age
British actress Nadine Mills is currently in her late 20s, following her dream to become a star actress.
Nadine found inspiration from American shows, including “Sister Sister” and “Moesha,” as Black actors are not represented well in the British movie industry.
Mills started her acting career with a small role in the short movie Drink, Drugs, and KFC.
She made her TV debut with a guest appearance in the first season of the famous sitcom “Sliced.”
Since then, she appeared in TV films, including “The Weekend,” The Strangers,” and “The Pay Day.”
Mills gained the spotlight after appearing in season 2 of Supacell in 2024. She said,
Before I booked this role, I was in a moment of my life where I was ready to give up. I’ve been doing it for a while. I was going to enroll and do my teaching degree because I was teaching math and English part-time. So I thought, maybe I should just do this properly and invest my time in [a] “proper” career. We all have that feeling.

She hopes the show will help break racial discrimination and build opportunities for black actors in the British industry.
Nadine Mills Credited Her Parents For Her Successful Career
Nadine Mills has described herself as an annoying child who always tried to get her parents’ attention through her acting. Mils said,
“To be honest, it’s something that was always in me when I was young. I used to always perform and put on little shows for my mum and dad. I was probably that annoying child that would be like, ‘Watch me! Look at me! I’ve got something else for you!'”
Although her parents’ names are not revealed, Mills has always received financial and emotional support from them.
They allowed Mills to take drama classes on weekends, which enhanced her acting skills.
Nadine Mills’ parents are initially from Jamaica but moved to the United Kingdom for better opportunities and facilities.
Her parents hold British citizenship but are of African descent and believe in Christianity.
