Alma Cooper’s Mother, Oralia Cooper, Is A Former Pageant Contestant
Alma Cooper’s supportive mother, Oralia Cooper, 54, was born in 1970 in the United States. She is of Latin descent.
According to Oralia’s Facebook profile, she attended Minico High School and moved to Idaho State University. Later, she completed her master’s degree in Educational Administration from Saginaw Valley State University.
When Alma was 14 years old, her mother sewed the dress that she wore to compete in the Miss Michigan Teen USA pageant. Alma added that her mom attached hundreds of beads to a handed-down gown.
Cooper added that her mother refused to allow her circumstances to define her destiny. Competing in pageants helped her mom build her self-confidence and determination.
