Maria Shrime Gonzalez is married to her husband, Lorenzo Gonzalez. The couple tied the knot in October 2011, marking the beginning of their relationship.

Her husband, Lorenzo is the founder of Zen Orthopedics, boasting a wealth of experience as a Chief Executive Officer in the alternative medicine sector.

His LinkedIn profile highlights his expertise in wellness coaching, entrepreneurship, athletics, and public speaking.

He pursued his education at Lehman College, earning a BA, and later attained a Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine from the United States Sports Academy.

Additionally, he graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

The couple’s shared journey includes the blessing of three kids, all born at home through natural childbirth.

In an interview, Maria recounted her experiences, including nursing one of her children immediately after completing a marathon, demonstrating her ability to overcome challenges.

She mentioned,

I birthed all three kids at home without any medication. So, natural childbirth, I’ve run three marathons. I even nursed one of my kids right after I crossed the finish line of the marathon. I’m not even joking. My husband ran the baby to me, and I lifted up my sweaty sports bra, and I nursed him after a marathon. So being alone and being sort of forced to dig deep, not a problem.


Celebrating their 12th anniversary, Maria shared their joy with a simple Instagram post. Maria seems to have adeptly navigated the balancing act of career, wife, and motherhood.
