The two cases have been different, as when Laci vanished at the end of 2002, she was eight months pregnant. Scott claimed to have been fishing at the time.
Four months later, in April 2003, authorities identified the fetus of 27-year-old Laci and discovered her mutilated torso the following day.
Moreover, Before Stacy disappeared, someone found Kathleen dead in a dry bathtub three years earlier. Stacy has been missing till now.
