Many have asked if Katelyn, aka Willow, will be sent off from the show.
Things were not looking good when she collapsed the night of her wedding to Michael Corinthos.
ABC Soap let some singles depart her life, including the fact that many women who Michael dates ended up deceased.
However, General Hospital wanted Katelyn to survive for some reason, including that it would give Nina a chance to get to know her daughter.
Nina’s aunt Liesl Obrecht has donated her bone marrow to Katelyn, which was a life-saving donation for her.
MacMullen Started Having Second Thoughts Of Her Nursing Career
After recovering from Leukemia, she returned to work at the hospital and was haunted by dreams of Harmony trying to warn her of something.
As of 2024, Katelyn started considering completing her nursing career because it took her away from the kids.
At some point, she eventually accepts Drew’s offer to be the spokesperson for a nonprofit that helps patients find bone marrow and stem cell matches.
Katelyn helped convince Drew not to run for Congress, and he also helped bring Willow and Nina together so that mother and daughter could start trying to repair their fractured relationship.
